
Shenandoah National Park remains open with a reduced staff during the government shutdown that started midnight October 1.

The Route 29 bypass is blocked in both directions north of Ivy Road after a semi apparently hit the Old Ivy Road Bridge under construction.

The presentation entitled “Two Genders, One Truth” is set for the club’s Wednesday meeting.

The Old Ivy Road bridge over the 29 bypass remains closed, and VDOT is only saying “until further notice”.
